Ukraine – Chance for a Green Recovery, ´is a short documentary film, produced in Ukraine in August 2023. It shows how the use of ecological building materials made from hemp-lime can provide an ecological and carbon-negative solution for post-war and disaster rebuilding. Thus able to turn our current modern building industry from an emitter to a capturer and aligning it with the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Host Maren Krings is a Climate Impact Storyteller who uses her skills and credentials in photography, filmmaking, content writing, and keynote speaking to communicate the potential of hemp for climate resilience and social justice. 

She has a B.F.A. in Photography from the Savannah College of Art & Design, an online degree in Climate Change Studies and Environmental Science from the University of Exeter, and multiple certifications in related fields.
