Mary Jane Oatman
Host of Gaia Gossip
Mary Jane is a member of the Nez Perce Tribe and a descendant of the Delaware Tribe, as well as a proud mother. As the Executive Director of the Indigenous Cannabis Industry Association (ICIA), founder of the Indigenous CANNabis Coalition (ICANNC), and publisher of THC Magazine, Mary Jane is dedicated to reclaiming Indigenous cultures and restoring traditional economies in hemp and cannabis. Her passion extends to capturing special moments with plants and people as a traveling culture and events photographer. Mary Jane's extensive background includes advocating for tribal sovereignty with state and federal agencies, serving on the National Advisory Council on Indian Education, and holding board positions with organizations such as the JUSTUS Foundation and the Association of Cannabis Health Equity and Medicine.
